 A really interesting set of three Russian Dolls that were originally a special commission for the Bristol Museum. The set depicts an Sarcophagus, mummy in bandages and an artefact that represents the god of protection for the mummy! These dolls are made in Russia from Linden Wood (Lime).  Tallest doll measures approx 4.25 inch (110 mm) high. Brought from Ebay.

Here we have a set of 5 man in the moon Russian dolls in excellent condition, very very slight paint loss. The largest doll is about 5 1/2 inches high. Brought From Ebay.

Set of 5 wooden Russian dolls with beautiful hand painted images in caricature form of Lenin, Stalin, Brezhnev, Gorbochev and Yeltsin - very unusual - in the more modern ones they have replaced Brezhnev with Putin - however this set is pre Putin, therefore Brezhnev features as the middle doll - complete set stands from 7 inches high. Brought from Ebay.

This new nice 5pc. Russian dolls set designed and handpainted by artist Galina Frolova, signed. The Largest doll has GOD BLESS AMERICA written on it and is about 3 1/2 inchs high.Brought from Ebay

Here we have four, playing card, Russian Dolls the largest is 5.5ins high, the smallest, 1.5ins high, they are all painted in red, black and brown and represent the face cards of a pack. They are all in reasonable condition with just a couple of areas of missing varnish.

Anther set of Russian dolls in the style of cards, this time with the queen included. This set is slightly different form the other set.

This is an old set of Solder Russian dolls, the largest one has a shield on one side and a hole on the other side, which I believe, had a sword in.
