Unusual "russian dolls" From an egg through to the chicken.
A set of three OVAL wooden Russian dolls. As you can see from the picture they are the same style as other Russian Dolls but are EGG SHAPED!! The largest and middle one both open and the small one is solid. Largest is 3.5 inches from base to point, middle one is 2 inches and smallest is 1 inch. NEVER SEEN ONE SIMILAR
This is a egg in the design of a Russian doll in a small stand. It is about 2 1/2 inches high. Brought from a car boot sale in Cambridge.
